UPCOMING    EVENTS


Sunday, January 29th -- Worship at 10:00 a.m.

Following worship & coffee hour we will hold our annual January Congregational meeting to 1) elect a treasurer and members of the  Board of Stewardship and Nominating Commitee, 2) Receive reports from the Treasurer, Audit Committee, and the Board of Stewardship, and 3) discuss and act upon the recommended budget for 2012.


February 3-5 -- Youth Retreat

Our youth will go to Silver Lake for a retreat with other Connecticut Conference youth.


Sunday February 5

10:00 AM -- Worship Service

Sara Kroon will preach and lead worship

11:30 AM -- Work Session

Help move boxes, supplies, and furniture from the Parish House basement to the Board Room so we can proceed with rehab work, painting, flooring, etc.


Sunday, February 12

10:00 AM -- Worship Service

11:30 AM -- Soup Luncheon by Youth

Join our Youth Mission Group for delicious home made Soups and Breads.  Your $5.00 contribution will help support their mission trip this summer.  After, mishion trip alumni will be sharing pictures, experiences, and stories.  Ideas and plans will be shared regarding this summer's trip. 


Sunday, February 19 @ 10:00 AM -- Worship Service

After the service, members of the Women's Fellowship will prepare the meal to be served on Monday at Columbus House in New Haven.


Monday February 20 @ 5:15 PM

Members of the Womens Fellowship will serve dinner at Columbus House.


Wednesday, February 22 @ Noon

Circle 4, the Study/Outreach Support Group, will meet to discuss the purpose of some of the books of the Bible.  Bring your Bible and your lunch.  All are welcome!  Great fellowship.

Celebrate the Lord's Super at this evening service in the Chapel


Sunday, February 26 @ 10:00 AM -- Worship Service

Be sure to come early at 9:50 AM for a hymn sing before the service


March 10th -- Save the Date -- By-Laws

All church members are encouraged to attend a work session to revise our out-dated By-Laws.  Yes!  We plan to wo it in one session.  There will be lively some discussions, no doubt.  And, of course, the outcome will be discussed and voted on by the whole congregation at a properly called meeting.
